Feat - Prosthetic Prodigy
From peg-legs to cybernetic hands, fantasy and sci-fi are full of prosthetics of all sorts, but very little in 5e actually interacts with what is a reality for many. Even in the cases where prostheses do exist (we see you, Artificer), they merely handwave away what has changed. Differences don’t need to be sanded away, so we looked for a different way.
With the Prosthetic Prodigy feat, you now have a way for a character with a prosthetic to not just ‘become normal’, but find new strength and skills from their disability. Designed to be build neutral, we hope the feat will add some extra flavor to the next disabled character you build, whether errant cannon balls, estranged space-wizard fathers, or quirks of birth are the cause.
Prosthetic Prodigy is the last preview we have to offer before the launch of Tales from the Firelit Gathering, as the launch is tomorrow! That makes this your last chance to follow the prelaunch page, since as of 12 pm February 7th, the project will be live! We’re super excited to share all the wonderful things we’ve made for you all, and we hope you are, too!
