In our quest to fill the gaps in the 5e catalogue, elemental spells have been a recurring project for us. Out of a half dozen elemental damage types, only fire damage has a robust stable of spells; the rest are plagued by underpowered or just no options, making certain sorts of characters a non-option. What’s a prospective frost or acid mage to do?

For now, you can have a sampler of elemental spells, on us, with more to come once Tales from the Firelit Gathering is ready to print. There are a lot of ways to play a new character, and while some may be excited for a strange new subclass, others may just want to play a classic like Draconic Sorcerer with an all new pallet of damage spells. Either way, Firelit Gathering will have something for you!
