Monk is a fun class, but it can come with a lot of narrative baggage. What if I want to play a fistcuffing guy who isn’t a reclusive weirdo? I don’t need to philosophize about it, knocking a head into another head is just obviously good!

Trained in back alleys and taverns rather than on mist-shrouded mountain, the Brawler is exactly the monk for those of you interested not in monk theory, but in monk practice. No contemplative reveries necessary, just the ability to offer every enemy their own teeth after a brief knuckle-and-elbow-based removal surgery.
